Wickford Middle School

NK’s 350th Anniversary parade this Saturday! Wickford Middle School will participate with Marching band and a float made by our students! For WMS Marchers participating in the parade, they will need to arrive at North Kingstown High School at 12:00 noon. The parade begins at 1:00. It will end at Wilsons Park by 2pm. Please pick up your student who is participating in the parade at Wilsons Park at 2pm.

Hello Wildcats! 🐾 Tuesday will be a Day 2. The rotation of the schedule is: 1,2,3,4,5,6. Your first period teacher will come to the gym or cafeteria to pick you up and will have a fresh updated copy of your schedule. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! 🐾💙🐾

We welcomed our rising 6th grade WILDCATS to WMS this evening. Class of 2031! Thank you to all of the students, families, our PTO, faculty and staff that came out to make it a great evening!

Many of our artists, musicians, and students will be spotlighted! Also, our Book Fair will be taking place and Spirit Wear will be sold--PLUS so much more!

Due to the forecasted snow for 2/13/24, all NKSD schools are closed, all after school activities including the School Committee meeting are canceled and out of district transportation is also canceled.  Please stay safe and warm tomorrow.

All NKSD Schools will have a one hour delay on 1/17/24.  All staff also are delayed one hour and AM Pre-K is canceled. Please drive safely!

Staff Professional Development Day - One hour delay. All PD activites will begin at 9AM. Please drive safely.

Wickford Middle School's Turkey Trot 2023 is underway! All donations go to The North Kingstown Food Pantry! Help us reach our goal of $10,000.00

The two art classrooms will be centrally located on the first floor. These large classrooms will overlook and have access to the interior courtyard. Display cases will prominetly showcase student work for everyone to see.

Each team will have a specially design classroom dedicated to Science instruction. The Science labs have a larger footprint (1000 sq.ft.) along with a Science prep/storage room. These 21st century classrooms will have ample storage space, sinks, and flexible seating to support ALL students.

WMS had an all school assembly to talk about this years 2023 Turkey Trot. This is a long standing tradition for WMS and we are so pleased to donate all of our proceeds to the North Kingstown Food Pantry! Help us reach our goal of $10,000! Go wildcats!

Mr. Gormley from NKHS came to WMS along with some CTE students to talk to the 8th class about some of the CTE pathways they could choose when entering NKHS next year. Such great options! Thank you to Mr Gormley and the students for sharing this information with our WMS Wildcats!

The media center will be the school's learning hub, and will offer flexible and technology-rich learning opportunities for ALL students.
